The Zoo of Les Sables introduces a new type of Zoo by marrying a respect for its
environment, with the protection of its exotic biodiversity and making its
visitors aware of good eco-citizenship.

Located near the heart of Les Sables d’Olonne, the Zoo is a 3 hectare haven of greenery nestling by the Vendée coast.
The Zoo shelters around 280 animals of more than 40 threatened species.
As it attracts over 160,000 visitors a year, it is the second most popular touristic site in Vendée.
